She turns to face him and glances occasionally around the room. She leans a bit on the bar with her elbow.

She nods at his words. "Steak sounds good, but I agree... Whiskey, it is.." She smiles and leans toward him...

His form would pause where he was for a moment. She, again, had his complete attention. And as she leaned in, as would he. Just grinning as he did, getting closer. But then, without anything else, he would whisper with a slightly seductive tone being tossed into his words.

Then let me fix those up for you.

And he was up. Maybe standing a bit close to her as he did, but he was just eveil sometimes and he knew it. Walking around the bar he had to chuckle a bit. Being him was simply fun sometimes. Luckily, he had come down here several times, so he knew right where the whiskey was. As for payment...well....he would just have to trim a few extra trees for De'Ryanna the next day. He may be a sneaky bugger, but he was honest. Opening up the bottle, he would pour the amber liquid into two tumbles that he pulled out from under the bar. However, he wouldn't bother capping it back up, but rather just set it on the bar top. Picking up his own glass, he would tip it into the one remaining for her, the tinging filling the quiet room.

Drink up. I'll see what I can do about those steaks.

And with that, his glass would be dropped off at his former seat. And with a wink he would wander back into the kitchen. However, those dark hues would look back to her one final time before dissapearing.

She smiled at him as she leaned close, and shivered a bit as he whispered in her ear. She watched him as he walked behind the bar for the whiskey. She wondered about the cost, but would worry about that later. He walked back and set a glass in front of her.

"Thank you" she smiled and took her glass. He then put his down and went towards the kitchen. Her eyes followed him and smiled again as he left the room.

As she waited she sipped her drink and looked around some more. She was gazing out a far window and had an odd feeling that there was something familiar either in this room or about it...couldn't quite put her finger on it. She shook her head slightly and sat back and relaxed and waited.

She would be waiting for some minutes. From within the kitchen could be heard heavy footsteps, cabinets opening and closing, things being pulled from their homes and laid out on counters, and just a lot of rattling around. Perhaps it was a skilled chef at work? Or perhaps the scramblings of someone that had no clue where anything was. From outside of the kitchen, all would be a mystery.

But the truth behind the doors would be a man roaming around a little bit looking for things. He had cooked in there before, so he knew where some things were, but he had help the last time. But he knew exactly what he was looking for. Two separate packages of steaks would be pulled out. If she was listening well, the sizzling of cooking meat could be heard as he dropped tem on the heated grill. And how about that....pre-cut veggies. He grinned as he pulled them from the fridge and dropped them into a pan to cook. A few splashes of oil here and there, some dashing of spices and everything was on auto pilot. Perfect opportunity to go out and flirt with the clientel. So, out from the kitchen he would come. However....must have been a little hot in there. The top couple button of that loose shirt were now open.

You doing alright, love? You could always join me. Hate to leave ya stranded out here. Letting your thoughts wander without someone to talk to.

Smirking, he would walk over to where she was, looking across the bar to her. Leaning over, his glass would be retreived and soothing sip taken.

As she sits waiting she hears much noise coming from the kitchen. She smiles and wonders if he knows what he's doing in there. She takes another sip as she sees him come out...shirt unbuttoned a bit.

"I'm doing just fine, how about you?" Smiling... "I would love to join you..., maybe I could be of help." She stands, grabs her drink and walks around the bar to join him.

That nagging feeling continues, but she ignores it.

He woud be chuckling a bit, shaking head gently. Hues watching her as she rounded the bar coming nearer. What a perfect opportunity to grab up his glass as well, sipping back some of the liquid, enjoying the soothing burn as it travelled down throat.

Well, not sure how much help you can be. If anything you will be a distraction. Most likely end up burnin myself or somethin like that. However, as I do not mind the distraction, yes, please come on back. Would rather have you in company anyways.

And with that, he would turn moving back to the kitchen. However this time he was not returning alone. So, opening door it would be held open for her to enter first.

How do you like your steak? I like mine on the rare side of things.

She smiled as he held the door open for her, sipping her drink as she walked by.

I'll try not to be too much of a distraction. She turned to him. Actually, I like my steak the same way.

As she watched him, she hopped up on the counter to watch him work.

Once back into the kitchen, he would pick back up the tongs he was using. The veggies would be tossed around a bit in the pan. Picking up the jar of spices, it would be sprinkled over the pan. And now he was just trying to be fancy. Hand would flick the pan up, causing the veggies to toss about into the air a little and then right back into the pan. Not dropping a one!

Putting the tongs down, a long handled prong was now picked up. The steak's turn to be turned. The grill sizzling as each new side hit the hot surface. Looking back over to her he would chuckle, seeing her just sitting there watching. Oh yes, nice distraction indeed.

Now I never said you would be a bad distraction, so don't think that for an instance. Alright, now....tell me more about this stuff you like to do?

She laughed softly..pulled her knees up, and wrapped her arms around her legs. She watched him toss around the veggies and the steaks. Wondering if he was showing off a bit.... Not that it bothered her, she liked a man who knew his way around a kitchen.

Do? She shrugged.. Nothing special, I guess. Usually whatever is around. Smiles.. Exploring, sight seeing, training a bit if needed..that kind of stuff.
